Who this program is for

The project-based training that closes the gap between course and hire.

This is not a training program. It is a structured 6-month project-based training phase for candidates who already have the fundamentals and need the missing piece, real, mentored production exposure that an employer recognises on a resume.

01

Recent CS / IT graduates

You finished your degree and want a backend stack employers hire for. Python and Django are an honest path to a junior-developer role.

02

Self-taught developers

You've tinkered with Python and want a structured way to become a Django developer, with real projects to show for it.

03

BTech / BCA / MCA final years

You want a six-month program that builds Python and Django depth and ends with two months of capstone work that lives on your resume.

What you'll work on

Six months. Six sessions.

Each month is a structured session with hands-on practice, mentor reviews, and a deliverable. Months 1–4 build Python and Django depth; months 5–6 turn that into shipped project work.

Month 01

Python & Web Foundations

Python basics (data types, control flow, functions, modules), web fundamentals (HTTP, requests, templates), and an introduction to Django: models, views, URLs, and the request/response cycle.

Month 02

Django Development & Mini Projects

Hands-on Django through a series of mini projects: forms, authentication, the admin, the ORM, and the patterns that recur in real apps.

Month 03

Advanced Django Concepts

Deeper Django: class-based views, custom middleware, signals, caching, query optimisation, file handling, and the patterns that separate a tutorial app from a production one.

Month 04

APIs & Application Integration

Designing and building REST APIs with Django REST Framework: authentication, serialisation, third-party integrations, webhooks, and stitching services together.

Month 05

Guided Project

A full Django project, mentor-led, that pulls everything together: planning, building, deploying, and reviewing as a single deliverable for your portfolio.

Month 06

Capstone — Your Own Project

You pick your own Django project. Mentors guide you through scoping, building, debugging, and shipping. The result lands in your portfolio with your name on it.

Why this is different

Most internships are shadow work. This one isn't.

The difference between an internship that lands you a job and an internship that doesn't is whether the work was real and whether the people reviewing it were practitioners. Here's how we structure both.

01

Structured Python & Django path

A six-month curriculum built around the Python + Django stack. You move from basics to advanced concepts in a defined order, then build. No random tutorials, no aimless coding.

02

Mentored by working engineers

Your code is reviewed by engineers shipping Django for a living. The feedback is the same standard their colleagues get.

03

A capstone you actually shipped

The last two months are mentor-guided projects, one structured, one self-chosen. You leave with shipped work in your portfolio, not just a course completion note.

04

A training completion certificate

On successful completion you receive a training completion certificate from Techcake documenting the curriculum and the projects you delivered.

What happens after

The training doesn't end at 'thanks for coming.'

Trainees who complete the program go through Techcake's career pipeline, designed to convert the work you did into the offer you want.

01

Portfolio & resume rebuild

A working engineer rewrites your resume and LinkedIn around your Django projects and what you can actually build, concrete deliverables, not generic skills lists.

02

Technical & HR mock interviews

Recorded mocks on Python fundamentals, Django patterns, REST APIs, and your capstone project, with practical feedback.

03

Alumni network access

Lifetime access to the Techcake alumni Slack and WhatsApp, for job referrals, technical questions, and an engineering network that keeps paying off.

Frequently asked

Questions before you apply.

The most common questions about this program, answered honestly.

Is this an internship?
Honestly, no. This is a project-based training program, not an internship. There's no employment relationship and no employer of record. What this program does build is the same skills and portfolio a real full-stack internship would build, and it prepares you for full-stack internship and junior-developer roles afterwards.
What stack do you work in?
Python and Django on the backend, Django REST Framework for APIs, plus the supporting web fundamentals (HTTP, HTML, basic frontend, databases) needed to ship a working app.
What if I'm a fresher with limited experience?
You should be comfortable with basic programming concepts (variables, loops, functions). Prior Python is helpful but not required, Month 01 starts from Python basics. If you are absolute zero on programming, take a programming primer first.
Will I be paid?
This is a learning project-based training program, not paid employment. The objective is a structured Python/Django foundation, two shipped projects, and a training completion certificate. Final commercial terms are walked through during the counsellor call.
Is there a job guarantee?
No. We provide structured career support: portfolio review, resume rebuild, mock interviews, direct referrals through the partner network. The final hiring decision is always the employer's.
On-site only?
Yes. Six months on the Taliparamba, Kannur campus, direct mentor proximity is part of what makes the program work.
What does this cost?
We'll walk you through fees and EMI on a counsellor call. Tap Apply Now or call us.
